My Profile in Brief
ME...A person from the hills & valleys of the North Eastern Part of India. My friends say that I am a simple person. Have stayed in Delhi for about 4 years. I have been related to training and quality since I was 3 years old. I started my career as a student at the age of 3 years. Since then on I have been constantly persuing training and quality.

When I completed my PG Diploma in English training in 1996, again I was associated with the training industry in the form of a Lecturer in a College in Assam. Continued there for sometime in that position.

In 1997 I decided to move to Delhi, but could materialize it only in 2001. "It's always better late than never..." Finally I reached Delhi. There I joined a Professional Training Institute as the Training Manager and continued in that position for sometime.

From there I got the much-awaited corporate entry... Got a break with the FedEx GSP for India, in Delhi. I worked with FedEx GSP in the capacity of ISO Networker & Training Manager for North India. My job responsibility included ISO 9001 Internal Audits in addition to training the employees - both Managerial and Non-Managerial.

I was more than happy when I got an offer for an interview at IBM Bangalore. Finally after a couple of months, I left the Capital city for the IT Capital city. I worked for IBM in Bangalore for about 2 years before I moved to Programming Research Software Technology. Delhi was a nice experience, set aside the extermes of heat in summer and extreme cold during winter. In one of my visits to Bangelore, found the climate pleasant and tried to beat my hand and legs for an opportunity in the Garden City.I have received a couple of trainings in addition to my qualification from the universities. One of them was conducted in Chandigarh in collaboration with University Grants Commision. The latest ones are related to Corporate. Two of them are on Quality Control and Quality Management. The Most important of them I believe is the one on Instructional Presentation Skill. I am interested in Quality Control, Marketing and HR.

Let me get personal now.I have a sweet, loving and supporting wife - Shatabdi. By qualification, she is a Librarian. she is a post graduate in Library and Information Sciences from Gauhati University. Presently she is working with Mind Matrix, an HR solutions organization in Bangalore.

My father - Prof M C Das - was the Principal in Lokonayak Omeo Kumar Das College in Dhekiajuli in Assam, India. He is renouned for his honesty and delligence. He is my idol in profesional life. He started his career as a teacher in a School near Tezpur. He acieved the position of a professor in History. Now he is retired, but still is the most sought after authority on History of North East India. He is an Active worker of North East India History Association. People from different part of the world visit him to discuss History.

My mother is a perfact homemaker. She got a number of opportunities to join a profession, but she refused them to look after the family. We lived in a Hindu undivided family till all my uncles got married, and she had to do a lot to take care of the family. It is my mother who has taught us that "When going gets tough, tough gets going."

I am the eldest of three of my parents' offsprings.

Next to me is my sister - Sucheta. She has completed her graduation in History Major from Gauhati University. Presently she is persuing a Diploma in Computer Application.

The youngest of my siblings in our brother Hrishikesh. He has completed his high School and presently doing a course in Computer Hardware and Networking from a private institute in Delhi.

From this you can visualize how diversified my family in geographical terms. My parents and sister are in Assam in the North Eastern Part of India, brother is in Delhi in the Northern Part of India, and me and my wife are in Bangalore, South India. We have scalled the whole of the country and are geographically almost 2000 kms away from one part to another.

I like to watch cartoon and news channels on TV.

I prefer Oriental Instrumental Classical Music to any other forms of Music.

The book that inspired me most is "Jonathan Livingstone Seagull".

The literary character that inspires me most is that of Ulysis who strived till the end and never to rest, who wanted to "Drink Life Till the Leas".

I always follow on of the great sayings of "The Geeta" - "We can controll our acts, and reap the fruits of our deeds".

The most truthful quotation I found in "The Bible" "Ask and it will be given to you".

When I was a student I loved Quiz. The passion still haunts me.

Volleyball and Golf are my favourite spotrs, although I am interested in the game of Chess also.
